Bariatric Pressure Reduction Mattresses
The new Mighty Max series of bariatric pressure reduction mattress are specifically designed to meet the special challenges that are present with patients that weigh up to 650 and 1000 lbs. With three layers of foam with progressive densities and pressure reducing properties, the Mighty Max mattresses provide the answers to very weighty questions. Individual models to match your bed width can be chosen from the drop down menu above.
The Pressure Reducing Foam Core
The unique, anatomically designed, inner foam core is designed to provide very low interface pressure readings and support for bariatric patients. Three layers of foam provide a low pressure environment under very challenging circumstances. And only BG North America offers a series of mattresses to service a wide range of patient weights.
The Top Layer
The uppermost layer of the Mighty Max is high density foam that provides support and comfort. While offering a durable first layer it can still provide lower pressures for the high risk bariatric patient.
The Second Layer
The second layer consists of a higher density and higher IFD foam for increased support and protection.
The Third Layer
With even higher IFD ratings the third layer of foam offers additional protection for patients and provides a sturdy foundation for any bariatric bed frame design.

The 39" width mattress can also be ordered with expandable wings to provide either a wider surface or a raised edge to help prevent accidental falls. A unique Velcro attachment system provides this incredible flexibility and can transform the existing mattress in seconds.
