One person can assemble this travel mobility in minutes. The 6 pieces, batteries 24 lbs., Electronics, 5 lbs., Base and Tiller, 28 lbs., Motor and Wheel assembly 39 lbs., Seat 25 lbs., and Motor Shroud 2 lbs., may vary slightly in weight by model. Since the heaviest piece is not lifted to assemble, the alignment of the seat shaft with its receiver is the most physically challenging assembly task. For those who do not want to bother with assembly, "White Glove Service" is available. "White Glove Service" includes unpacking, removal of packaging materials, assembly and use instruction. "White Glove Service" also delivers on floor above and below street level.
Golden Technologies has a limited lifetime Warranty on structural components including main front frame, rear frame, seat post and frame weld. A two year warranty of 100% replacement of parts cost applies to drive train (transaxle assembly), battery charger. A one year warranty applies to all other parts.
