Golden Technologies Companion II electric scooters have been approved for sale by the Veterans Administration. The Companion II electric scooter provides an indoor/outdoor electric mobility scooter with many new features to assist you in simplifying your choice of battery electric scooters. The Golden Companion electric scooter comes from a premier manufacturer of electric mobility scooters. (Most people recognize the Golden Technologies name associated with lift recliners and recliner chairs. Their state of the art manufacturing of high quality electric scooters is moving them to the top for their reasonable price and updated features.) The Golden Companion is the only electric scooter approved by the VA.

Sleep Mode - The DS70 sleep mode de-energizes the power relay when the scooter panel is not used for 60 minutes

The 6 pieces, batteries 24 lbs., Electronics, 5 lbs., Base and Tiller, 28 lbs., Motor and Wheel assembly 39 lbs., Seat 25 lbs., and Motor Shroud 2 lbs., may vary slightly in weight by model. Since the heaviest piece is not lifted to assemble, the alignment of the seat shaft with its receiver is the most physically challenging assembly task

If you don't want to bother with the task of assembly, request the "White Glove Service". White Glove Service includes uncrating, assemble and set up of the product, removal of packaging materials from customers location. Also, white glove service will deliver one floor below and one floor above.
