CONSUMER LIMITED WARRANTY
BED FRAME
FULL ONE YEAR WARRANTY
GOLDEN warrants this bed, to consumers* only, against defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase by a consumer.
GOLDEN, through its authorized distributor / service organization, will repair or replace, at its option, any bed which evidences, within the warranty period, a defect in material or workmanship.
LIMITED WARRANTY - SECOND THROUGH FIFTEENTH YEAR
During the period beginning with the expiration of the full one year warranty offered above and continuing through the fifteenth year after date of original purchase by a consumer, GOLDEN will warrant the bed on a pro-rata basis, pro-rated at the rate of 1/180 of the current replacement cost times the number of months from the date of shipment. By way of example; if after 36 months from date of shipment a part costing $20.00 has to be replaced, the formula to
determine the cost to the original purchaser is 1/180 x $20 x 36 months. GOLDEN shall not be responsible or obligated to pay for any costs or expenses for examination and / or service of
any warranted part or to pay for costs of transportation, handling and packaging of the beds and / or parts or components.
TERMS APPLICABLE TO BOTH WARRANTIES
This warranty does not include any damage caused to fabric, electrical cables or cords, external or internal finish. GOLDEN will, at its option, repair and / or replace the defective parts and / or components provided that the warranty parts have not been subjected to misuse or improper service by the consumer, have not been damaged in transit or handling and / or have not been altered or repaired by unauthorized representatives. This warranty does not include costs for unnecessary service calls, i.e., in-home service calls solely for the purpose of educating the consumer about the product, or finding an unsatisfactory power connection.
BED MATTRESS
Golden Technologies warrants its mattresses (as stated below) against manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials (excluding the cover) for the original purchaser from the original purchase date. All transportation costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. If a defect that is covered occurs during the no charge period, the manufacturer will repair or replace (at Goldens option) the defective mattress within a reasonable period of time, not including transportation charges. If a problem occurs after the no charge period, but prior to the end of the warranty period, but prior to the end of the warranty period, the manufacturer will repair or replace (at Golden’s option) the defective product with a charge to the purchaser for labor and materials plus transportation charges. GOLDEN shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages or for any other damage or loss not contained in this warranty.
