The SAVE-A-SWITCHTM and HOLD-A-CALLBELLTM fixture attachment is designed to endure normal use in healthcare facilities. To protect patients and prevent damage to switches and fixture mounts, a release threshold of 5 pounds (+/- 2 lbs) pull force has been designed into the SAVE-A-SWITCHTM and HOLD-A-CALLBELLTM  attachment system. If an unusually hard pull is applied to a SAVE-A-SWITCHTM or HOLD-A-CALLBELLTM it will safely detach from the bed rail. This threshold provides a good balance for normal everyday use.

SAVE-A-SWITCHTM attaches to any chain. It comes with a 48 in. white nylon string with #10 ABS balls and an ABS connector for #6, #8 or #10 ball chain.

Durable 100% nylon hook and loop (can be disinfected)

To prevent damage to switches, a release of 5lbs. (+/-2lbs) is part of the design.

For many years healthcare facility administrators have reluctantly used less then practical solutions when it comes to attaching nurse call cords and light switch chains to the bed rail.
