Thanks to TiLite's unique new axle plate/camber tube design, the Evo turns on a dime and is significantly more responsive than traditional dual axle plate manual wheelchairs. TiLite wheelchairs are designed by engineers who use wheelchairs, resulting in clean-looking, user-friendly designs. Titanium is light and strong. In fact TiLite titanium is 50% lighter than steel and twice the strength of 6061 aluminum. This means TiLite wheelchair frames can be half the weight of aluminum frames without sacrificing strength. The TiLite Evo has a complete weight of only 12.9 lbs. for exceptional ease in turning.
