The AccuMax Quantum Turn Support provides a level of care that helps to combat the effects of prolonged immobility which can include decreased oxygen uptake as well as decreased cardiovascular functioning. And all of this can be achieved with the simple attachment of our extremely quiet and reliable control unit included in this low package price.
The System Dynamics
By incorporating a safe and reliable turning system to the top layer of our existing AccuMax Quantum System, caregivers can now choose between two vital therapies that can assist in patient healing; alternating pressure or gentle patient rotation.
Two simple "clicks" of the connecting hoses make the difference between the therapeutic effects of alternating pressure or the benefits of moderate patient rotation. The easy-to-use control unit activates either therapy at the touch of the button.
The "Adaptable" and Adjustable Control Unit
When connected for alternating pressure, the Soft/Firm adjustment knob allows the caregiver or patient to dial in individual preferences for mattress firmness during the alternating pressure cycle.
When connected for lateral rotation the adjustment knob now acts as your control for the angle of rotation. Keeping the adjustment knob on or close to the "Soft" setting allows for slight rotation. The middle setting of the knob allows for moderate rotation. Adjusting the knob to the "Firm" setting provides for the maximum rotation of approximately 25 degrees in each direction. The actual turn cycle for optimum patient comfort is factory set at 15 minutes.
The Control Unit also offers a "static" feature to equalize the pressure at any time during the rotation cycle to bring the system into a neutral (level) position. This helpful feature provides a stable, uniform surface during dressing changes etc. And if the caregiver forgets to resume the rotational therapy, it automatically resumes in approximately 20 minutes.
The Patent Pending "Center Assist" Feature
Only the AccuMax Quantum TS comes equipped with the exclusive "Center Assist" feature that helps to keep the patient centered on the therapeutic surface. Most mattress based rotational systems do not have an answer to the challenge of the patient migrating toward the sides of the mattress during the rotation cycle. Not only does this migration lessen the ability of the rotating mattress in achieving the maximum angle of rotation for the patient, it also presents a significant safety hazard as patients can be trapped against the side rails.
The Unique Safety Features
Only the AccuMax TS protects your patient in two ways in the event of a power loss. First, if there is an interruption of power the AccuMax TS does not trap air in any one position or angle of rotation and begins a slow descent into a neutral (level) position. This eliminates the possibility of your patient lying in a compromising position for an extended period of time.
Second, once in that neutral position, your patient is protected by laying on the clinically proven, non-powered AccuMax pressure relieving surface. This assures you that your patient is never in any danger or high level of risk because of a power loss.

FLAMMABILITY:
Manufactured to meet California Upholstery Provisions as stated in Technical Bulletin #117 and exceed Federal Flammability Standard 16CFR1632 (Formerly DOC FF 4-72). Special models are available (at additional charge) to meet California Technical Bulletin #121, #129, City of Boston #IX-II, and others upon request.
The AccuMax Quantum TS and TC are currently in production. Fabrication takes up to 10 days and this item must ship flat, necessitating motor freight.
Warranty Information:
This warranty applies only to defects in structure, workmanship, and materials and only to damages arising from normal usage on a non-pro-rated basis for a period of two (2) years from date of purchase. Damages arising from abnormal use such as those caused by needle punctures, burns, chemicals, negligent use or improper care or cleaning, are excluded from coverage. Manufacturer will pay shipping and handling charges incurred in connection with this warranty during the first year. Thereafter, those charges are the purchaser's responsibility. Returned merchandise, other than manufacturing defect, are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Customers are responsible for freight charges on returned undamaged goods.
