The AccuMax Quantum's come in two versions, both of which provide positive clinical outcomes in the treatment of pressure ulcers elderly. Both Quantum models operate as fully functional non-powered systems but easily convert to powered systems at the push of a button.
The top of the line AccuMax Quantum Convertible pressure relief mattress comes equipped with their most advanced top cover, their comfort engineered co-polymer and polyfiber topper, six anatomically inspired low pressure zones and a gentle heel slope for added protection. The Quantum Convertible also can have their exclusive 'Airport Connection System' added (at the time of fabrication) as standard equipment for quick convertibility to a powered system.
1stSeniorCare has available a number of clinical studies documenting the efficacy of the AccuMax Quantum mattresses in the treatment of pressure ulcers in the elderly. Moreover, time after time we are told that the pressure relief system offered in the Quantum Convertible and PC produces the best possible sleep, in fact "the best sleep they have ever had." Warranty: there is a five year limited and three year non-prorated warranty. Damages arising from abnormal use including needle punctures, burns, chemicals, negligent use or improper care or cleaning are excluded from coverage. A one year non-prorated warranty is on all control units.
