The Special Child's Hoyer lift

Very similar to our Diana model the Tonya™ Lift was especially designed for pediatric use. Built with a slightly smaller frame and a patient positioner, kids love to be lifted with the multicolored Tonya™ Lift. Not only is the appearance of the Tonya™ fun for a child, the lift itself is built for safety and reliability. Equipped with a number of safety features, the Tonya™ can lift up to 350 lbs. With the easy grip handles and 4 inch wheels, it is easy to maneuver around the house. The Tonya™ with the standard leg spreading feature, which enables one to get into tight spaces for getting a child onto a toilet or into a chair.

Barrier Free's TONYA child's lift had been developed from Barrier Free's two most successful original lift products (DIANA and LEXA) and therefore combines functionality, design and exceptional quality. Of highly colorful design, TONYA child Hoyer Lift, permits children with movement impairments to be lifted from any position in an ergonomically correct manner using the motorized patient positioner.

Positioning with the Touch of a Button

The greatest feature of the Tonya™ lift is its standard motorized patient positioner. With the patient positioner, the caregiver can reposition the user into varying degrees of reclined or upright, or seated positions while being lifted. The motorized patient postioner developed for a Pediatric Tonya™ lift is smaller than that of our Lexa, which makes it easier to position and transport. The smaller patient positioner enables the sling to better conform to children, ensuring safety and comfort.

All of the children that use the Tonya™ Lift love its multi-colored frame and many refer to the blue lifting arm as an “elephants trunk” . The lift itself is has a gentle, playful appearance that is usually not found in other lifts and give a bright visual appearance to enhance the mood of those being transferred. For example it can be taken outside for a picnic and used to play in the grass. It is so safe that your child’s playmates and friends can operate the new “flying machine”.
